Samsung to launch smartphone leasing in Russia in October

MOSCOW, Sep 26 (PRIME) -- South Korea’s Samsung will launch leasing of smartphones in Russia in October, and will become the first company offering the service on the Russian market, a spokesperson told PRIME on Wednesday.

The service will encompass only the flagship smartphones Galaxy S9, S9+ and Note9. It will initially be provided at the branded stores in Moscow, and later Samsung will extend the network of cities and partners.

The monthly fee is 3,790 rubles and after full payment, a customer can obtain ownership of the phone. The service includes some opportunities to change the phone during leasing.
